Architectural Office in Athens

Dear All,

Despite the fact that due to the financial crisis things in the field of property development and real estate are quite tight at the moment, a new Architectural office starts its own steps. Archliners.gr is the web presentation of a young and very motivated team. For now, I wish just to release their starting page: Architectural Office in Athens

We will update soon their web progress. Ciao!

Kythera, or else Cerigo, is the island of goddess Urania Aphrodite and god Eros. Kythera is located in Southern Greece between southern Peloponnese and Crete. It is part of Ionian Islands.
The island is mountainous with a lot of valleys leading to the sea and shape enchanting beaches. The extent of the island is roughly 280 square kilometres. The vegetation is luxuriant, mainly in the northern and western departments of island.
Kythera is the ideal place in which nature is bewitching and is improved by culture. The visitors fall in love and easily familiarise with the island. Let’s take a taste for my favourite places!
Chora as in most greek islands, is the capital of the island. In the southern part, Chora and Kapsali compose the most graphic and impressive views.
First you meet the houses and at the background the Venetian castle, built in 1503. Narrow roads with white little houses, and near the castle old mansions, Venetian buildings and many other which were built during the English domination. Strolling in the streets of Chora and the Castle is recommended.
Kapsali is the place where you can find everything. It is the seaport of Chora
The settlement is built round the two beautiful gulfs. There are a lot of rooms for rent, hotels, restaurants, cafes and other tourist enterprises.
Milopotamos is the village of the fables and legends. At the end of village "Kato Chora", the Venetian settlement, derelict but also so much alive believing that some life will suddenly pop up. Do not miss the sunset!
Ad then….Fonissa falls. Nobody could imagine meeting this on Kythera. The bolds continue in the watermills and a series of waterfalls may enchant us and lead us to the sea. Surely, mountain equipment is recommended for adventure.
Next time I will write about the beaches! Kythera is full of beautiful beaches, like Chalkos, Melidoni, Firi Ammos.

Happy New Year!

Guys! Happy New Year to all!

My Best of wishes for you all watching us and keeping visiting our small but I hope interesting blog.

Today and since the topic this blog is Ionian Islands, i would like to introduce two blogs regarding Lefkada. People from Lefkada are known to be funny enough and to seek to make fun most of the time. This reflects also the way that expose their islands by their blogs. The blogs are:

  • This blog is quite well known with many visits. They have recently updated their template. Quite good job for a local blog. Especially their video about KOLYVATA was quite interesting. The link: http://www.mylefkada.gr/ (Lefkada blog)
  • The second one it seems to be just a very new try, but we will promote it: http://lefkadalive.blogspot.com/ (Lefkada online)
And of course, regarding houses and properties in Lefkada, please have a look here:
